Sai Kung Stingrays Rugby Club are a young and enthusiastic family orientated Rugby Club based in the New Territories town of Sai Kung. The club was founded by a small group of parents who recognised that the large population of the Sai Kung District was not adequately provided for in the fast growing and ever popular sport of Rugby. Their main focus is development of children in Rugby, from minis starting from the age of 4, up to the youth teams up to late teens, allowing the young stars of tomorrow to learn all about Rugby in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
Now one of the biggest Rugby Clubs in Hong Kong for Minis they wish to continue to develop this talent and encourage youngsters to develop and grow into a seniors team to allow the boys and girls a chance to play for Sai Kung at the senior level. They have their eyes firmly set on having Stingrays play for Hong Kong in future World Cups and Olympics.
The Stingrays particularly encourage girls to join, as a very large proportion of our stars are girls. This enables them to be at the forefront of the women's game in Hong Kong.
